PDF files are more and more widely used, especially in business, thanks to their high level of security and protection. The official software for viewing PDF files on your Mac is Adobe Reader.
Adobe Reader is a free program created by Adobe that lets you quickly and easily read documents, including the option to work with forms and fill their boxes. You can also add comments and notes, and print.
Simple and intuitive interface
The program has a simple interface with basic tools for text selection, word search, and zooming in and out, among others. It also includes the option to view all the pages that make up the file in a thumbnail on the left side of the interface, so you can go to straight to any page faster.
The free version restricts you to reading and printing PDF files only. The paid version also allows you to add notes and bookmarks, as well as export the text or images to the clipboard, Word or Excel, and create PDF documents from other formats.
Adobe Reader includes its own cloud storage, the Adobe Document Cloud, so you can view and work on your PDF files from anywhere, accessing them from both computers and from mobile devices.
