FileZilla is an open source FTP client that includes support for FTP, FTPS, and SFTP; it also offers support for IPv6 and the ability to bypass proxy servers and firewalls.
Easy to use for everyone
Connecting to a server with FileZilla is simple: just enter the server name, user name and password, and start the connection.
FileZilla has an easy to use graphical interface, much like a file explorer, with different windows. Via the slick file drag and drop system, you can quickly move files from the local server to the remote server. In addition, the directory syncing feature lets you access your files remotely.
The program includes a setup wizard for you to configure the network without any issues, as well as options for setting file upload and download speed limits, and more.
Save your servers and transfer large files
FileZilla lets you create bookmarks to access your favorite servers more easily. The program also has the capacity to transfer large files, even files that are bigger than 4GB, and it’s possible to resume downloads from the point they stopped at.
You can create transfer queues, both to upload and download files, and the program is adapted so you can remotely edit the files or search for them. You can also use filters to search your files, and these filters can be edited as needed.
