Apple’s official browser
- Browser designed by Apple.
- Great visual impact.
- Hasn’t been updated for years.
Safari is well-known browser developed by Apple. Initially available only for Mac, this program has broadened its horizons and is now available for any PC.
Visual impact and performance
First of all, Safari has the basic options of any modern Internet browser, such as navigation via tabs, support for plugins, compatibility with all programming codes, bookmark management, toolbars, a customizable startup page, and more.
But there’s more to it than that; things that set Safari apart from the competition. One of those things is without a doubt the browsing speed. This program is truly fast, as much in loading the programs as in the general performance. On top of that, Safari has an integrated RSS reader, a customizable search engine with suggestions and a dynamic handling of historical searches (known as the ‘Cover Flow’ system by Apple).
Make the most of it while it lasts...
Although there’s been no official confirmation yet, the rumor is that Safari for Windows has been discontinued. No new versions have been released since 2012.
This could implicate poor performance and erratic behaviour of websites; in this case we would recommend that users download other browsers.
